Tyler has been looking forward to his birthday for months now. At 6, he is old enough to understand that June 4th is his special day. Our family was in CA for his aunt's wedding, so we did our best to give him a special CA birthday. The day before we took him to a science museum. Tyler loves all things science. He wanted to be a dolphin trainer when he was 3, a (construction) worker man when he was 4, an army man or a NASA space worker (the 1st man on Mars, to be exact) at age 5, and now he wants to be a scientist. He is so proud of his Opa, the scientist teacher and asks for a science experiment every he goes to his Opa's house. So the California Academy of Sciences was a perfect birthday activity.
