Lydia's 18 Month Pictures

Look at these adorable pictures! We took Lydia to my friend's in-home studio (AHM Photography) which is one of the most fun inside studios I've ever been to. But Lydia wanted nothing to do with it. Poor little girl was up on the stage signing, "All done? All done?" While the rest of us were running around all silly and trying to make her laugh. It must have worked enough to get these shots. She's so cute!
She was actually the most excited to wear this, her "Bumbo!" outfit.

Breakfast with Santa

This was fun. We were invited to a breakfast with Santa at Chick-fil-A. I was impressed at the good healthy breakfast and of course, how fun to visit with Santa. Tyler had a good chat with him.
And Lydia? Well...this is priceless.
Merry Christmas!

It's Autumn Time, It's Autumn Time, the Leaves Are Falling Down

And this is only half of them. When the rest of the leaves finished falling, they completely covered our yard again.

Disney on Ice

Score! Tyson got media tickets to Disney on Ice on November 9th. Did it used to be called Ice Capades? That's how I remember it. So together with Grandma Joyce, our little family headed down to SLC for the show.
Lydia enjoyed the audience the most (she kept patting the little Snow White next to us) and Tyler really perked up at Peter Pan.
I think we wore them out. :-)
Fun media perks like this sure help keep the rough days at work in perspective.

I Love These Kids

For some reason Lydia just plopped down on the floor. Tyler thought it looked like a good idea so he joined her.
Then Lydia decided to show us where her recently discovered belly button is located. Tyler thought it was a good idea so he joined her.
I love these kids!

Cutest Halloween Elephant Ever!

I've always wanted to dress a baby up as an elephant for Halloween. Wait until you see the costume I found -

Love it! We had a busy Halloween. We spent the whole morning at ABC4 News to visit Tyson and have the kids on some of his shows. Here's Lydia waiting on the set for her segment.
Tyler was one happy little Worker Man. He had a blast backstage "fixing" the sets and chatting with all the guests.
He even got to help out with the weather.
She was such a good sport, wearing her "Bumbo!" hood and going in front of the cameras.
I couldn't resist one more shot from the back. :-)
In the afternoon I took the kiddos to Uncle Matthew's office for their huge Halloween trick or treating. They go all out and after 2 floors, the kids had their treat pumpkins completely full! And yet we still went to the trunk or treat at the Church, to visit grandparents, and even to a few houses in our neighborhood. Good thing the kids are young enough to still share with the parents!
Halloween with kids is the best. :-)

Carving Pumpkins

So excited about the jack o' lanterns we carved!
The pumpkins came from Tyler's preschool field trip to a super fun pumpkin patch called Black Island Farms.
Happy October!
