With Tyson still looking for a job, we figured we'd plan on a modest Christmas, present-wise, knowing that lots of family nearby would still make for fun and memories.
Well, the ward, neighborhood, and our families had other ideas. We were blessed with Secret Angels from church a few days before, with gifts for everyone and plenty of food for our pantry. So, so thoughtful! We love our ward.
And then a sweet family we don't even know showed up on our doorstep on Christmas Eve singing and absolutely overflowing our porch with gifts and treats and food. Our children were running in circles, so excited! Tyson just kept saying, "Someday we're going to do this for someone else." We feel so loved and blessed and will pay it forward.

It's so nice to live close to the grandparents so we can visit both sets on Christmas day!
The grandkid calendar tradition continues.
And of course, we can't sign off without saying Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus. The reason for the season. :-)
