12 Weeks Old and Still Growing!

Tyler turned 12 weeks old yesterday. Still so young, but he's growing so fast! At Tyler's 2 month check up a couple of weeks ago he weighed in at 12 pounds and 11 ounces and measured 2 feet tall (only 4 more to go to catch up with his Daddy).

He's such a cute little guy. He loves sitting up (with support of course) and is trying so hard to roll over only to be foiled by his heavy head. He is smiling and laughing all the time now and that just makes all the diaper explosions and late night feedings so worth it.

We love how he greets us with big, sparkly blue eyes and a huge toothless grin every morning and how he is so cuddly at bedtime. He's also discovered his voice and will just jabber away to anyone who will look at him - including his toy lion. We love our little guy tons!

In other news, Tyson and I sold our cars and bought our first "Our Car" - a 2005 black Toyota Corolla. Not only is it safe and reliable, but it's fun to drive! We're open for name suggestions. If we choose the name you submit, you win! A ride around the block.

Carrie went back to work last week. Her job is being really flexible and supportive of her by allowing her to work a few hours in the office and the rest at home. Tyson gets bonding time with Tyler while Carrie's in the office.

Tyson goes back to school in one week. He has been working for Chrysalis this summer as a house manager for mentally handicapped people. He really loves his job so he will continue to work while going to school.

Last, but not least, Callie is still incredible with Tyler. She still comes and gets us when he cries and stays in the room until she knows he's taken care of. The other day she headbutted Tyler (her way of showing affection). And Tyler likes being tickled by Callie's tail.
