After playing Tball last year, Tyler wasn't sure if he was interested in playing coach pitch baseball this year. I asked him to give it one more chance so that as he goes through school, he will at least know how to hit the ball in P.E. He agreed.
Drafted to the Marlins (though he had hoped for the Dodgers), Coach Garlick was relaxed, positive, and just wanted the boys to have fun. Tyler got a respectable amount of hits and runs and had enough fun that even though I let him off the hook, he said quite determinedly that he's going to play baseball one more year. I'm proud of you, buddy!
