Play Ball!

At Tyler's first T-ball game, the very first player stepped up to bat, hit it, and ran as fast as he could - straight to the pitcher's mound.  Yes, this is what I've been looking forward to ever since my child was born!  Ahh T-ball.  The players are just so cute!  And I have a special place in my heart for baseball because of the 5 seasons of softball I played when I was a kid.

Tyler most liked to go up to bat and to play catcher or pitcher (when you're 5, that small area of the field is where most of the action is).

Thank you to a super patient and positive coach.  Thank you to the grandparents who came out to cheer game after game in the hot, bright sun and sometimes crazy wind!  Thank you to a patient little sister who had to come to game after game, but not play.  Thank you Tyler for sharing some of your game treats with your sister.
