Today was Old Town San Diego day. Tyson and I visited here on our Honeymoon, but it has changed somewhat in the past 6 years. One of the changes for the better was the Mormon Battalion Museum.
And the tour was interactive and so much fun! Not far into the Sister missionary's opening spiel, one of the photographs behind her sneezed. Yes, sneezed. And it just got better from there. The creative and artistic team behind the tour did an amazing job. The outside activities were fantastic as well. Tyler got to pan for gold and actually found some (fools) gold to take home.
Try to resist pinching her cheeks, because you'll just hit your fingers on the computer screen. Isn't she a doll?
They also had an area where you could find your ancestors connected with the Battalion and get your picture taken. Loved it all!
When Tyson and I were here before, we went to the best Mexican restaurant. We were excited to go back with the fam. Except it's no longer the same restaurant. Same cool building, but different menu, and not much of it Mexican. A little disappointing, but it was still nice to dine and relax outside with everyone. And then this guy came along to our table and stole the show, singing to both Levi and Lydia. We laughed so much!

Oh my gosh! We have the exact same "Honorary Mormon Battalion" photo of our family from just a year ago. I will have to scan it and email it to you. That is hilarous! It is a very neat site. We loved the tour and everything too. So fun!
